Cirrus Design Corporation Chooses SunView Software To Automate and Streamline its IT Operations

TAMPA, FL - January 28, 2008 - SunView Software, a leading provider of IT Service Management solutions, today announced that Cirrus Design Corporation, the leading innovator of single-engine, piston-powered aircraft, has selected ChangeGear™ as its end-to-end solution for managing its IT infrastructure and services.

Cirrus Design will leverage ChangeGear to implement ITIL best practices, improve customer service, and achieve regulatory compliance. They will utilize all of the ChangeGear modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Release Management.

Prior to purchasing ChangeGear, Cirrus Design tracked their IT changes using an internally-developed system, but as the company expanded, they realized the need for a more comprehensive system to better manage system change requests and security. After an extensive evaluation of third-party service management vendors, they determined SunView’s ChangeGear to be the best option for their organization because of its flexibility, extensible workflow, and ease of use and deployment.

“Companies today place rigorous demands on IT in order to meet their business objectives,” said Seng Sun, CEO of SunView Software. “Cirrus Design Corporation’s selection of ChangeGear illustrates the importance of effective IT service management to maximize IT efficiency and achieve a competitive advantage. We are happy to welcome Cirrus Design to our growing list of customers and look forward to building a strong and lasting relationship.”
