SunView Software Announces the ChangeGear™ 3.0 Enterprise Suite

TAMPA, FL — April 30, 2007 — SunView Software, a leading provider of IT Service Management solutions, today announced the release of the ChangeGear 3.0 Enterprise Suite, an integrated software solution (Change, Configuration and Release Management) that enables IT organizations to track, manage and control their IT Services.

The ChangeGear suite is easy-to-use and simple to deploy, providing fast implementation and immediate return on investment. Based on the ITIL best practices framework and built on Microsoft .NET, the ChangeGear suite helps IT organizations improve system uptime, automate IT processes, and meet regulatory compliance mandates.

As a significant component of this release, the ChangeGear CMDB serves as the cornerstone of the ChangeGear suite. By delivering a comprehensive view of all infrastructure components and how they relate, the ChangeGear CMDB provides 360 degree visibility into the IT environment. This information is leveraged by the other IT service processes to expedite root-cause analysis for problem solving, to provide impact analysis for change management and to ensure the successful release of change to production.

The ChangeGear CMDB’s extensible and agentless discovery technology automatically identifies, manages, and updates the IT resources in the infrastructure to give IT organizations a real-time snapshot of their environment at any given time. This reduces the risk of errors and the excessive time and effort typically associated with manually identifying and cataloging IT configuration information.
